Dynamics Technician II

Responsibilities

Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data
Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
Other - Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Under general supervision; completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures, regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoots and reworks standard tests. Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results
Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Dynamics principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; basic understanding of AC/DC circuits
Able to use all standard Dynamics equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skills
HS Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred
2-6 Years of experience
Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
