Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that span across business units and indirect categories (fuel included but not the sole focus)
Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and market conditions to identify cost-saving and risk-mitigation opportunities
Partner with cross-functional leaders to gain buy-in on sourcing initiatives through consultative influence and clear business case communication
Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize value, quality, and service levels
Champion change management efforts by helping internal partners understand and adopt new sourcing processes or supplier transitions
Serve as a trusted advisor who can “sell” recommendations internally while balancing competing priorities
Maintain professionalism and composure in a dynamic environment, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals
Establish sourcing KPIs, monitor compliance, and report on performance outcomes
Qualification
Required
8+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Proven experience in enterprise-level indirect spend management
Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence without authority
Demonstrated success driving change management and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
Ability to travel across US and Canada up to 30%
Preferred
Proficiency with SAP, Ariba, Power BI, and Excel
