Sales and Group Rooms Coordinator

Timbers Company is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales and Group Rooms Coordinator to join their team at The Sebastian Vail. The ideal candidate will support the sales department by coordinating group reservations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group room reservations and bookings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate with the sales team to provide outstanding service to clients and guests
Manage and maintain group account files, tracking all agreements, dates, and relevant information
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group events and reservations
Assist with sales activities, including preparing proposals and contracts for group bookings
Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including report generation, data entry, and record maintenance
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to sales and room bookings

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field is a plus
Previous experience in hotel sales, group reservations, or a similar role is preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications and familiarity with hotel management software
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Previous experience in hotel sales, group reservations, or a similar role is preferred
