Responsibilities

Develop and execute global category strategies for travel, fleet, meetings, and corporate card programs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier negotiations and contract management, to achieve cost savings, sustainability, and risk mitigation
Drive Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring effective partnerships that support organizational goals and enhance supplier collaboration
Identify and implement best practices across procurement and sourcing functions to optimize spend and enhance supplier performance
Leverage data analytics and market intelligence to optimize spend, enhance supplier performance, and identify trends
Advise senior leadership on procurement strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations
Act as an enterprise leader by driving alignment across global teams, influencing strategic priorities, and championing initiatives that deliver value and innovation across the organization
Oversee global travel programs, ensuring compliance with policies, traveler satisfaction, and cost efficiency
Manage relationships with travel vendors (TMCs, airlines, hotels), and drive adoption of technology for operational improvements
Lead global fleet strategies, including procurement, leasing, and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards
Develop and manage a global meetings and events program, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions
Manage the corporate card program, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and alignment with company policies
Partner with Finance and stakeholders to drive adoption and optimize spend visibility
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all procurement and operational activities
Drive sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and environmentally friendly practices
Build and lead a high-performing global team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members
Lead active performance management and talent development initiatives, fostering skill growth, career progression, and continuous improvement within the team
Inspire and motivate teams by promoting a positive, engaging work environment
Communicate with clarity, enthusiasm, and optimism across all levels of the organization
Act as a champion for strategic sourcing, influencing organizational direction and driving successful outcomes
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and department leaders, providing counsel and execution support

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, to preferably include 12 years directly in sourcing Pharma/Biotech
Master's degree plus 13 years of relevant, progressive experience within procurement, to preferably include 10 years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech
Experience managing mid to senior level procurement and operations professionals
Proven track record developing category strategies to meet Pharma/Biotech company goals
Demonstrated proficiency introducing new applications and policies based on professional principles
Experience formulating strategy and vision regarding issues that have company-wide impact
