Responsibilities
Deliver competent medical care to patients at WakeMed
Complete referrals, consults, daily patient rounds, daily notes, discharge summaries, procedures, clinic notes, pre and post procedure care, prescribing and patient care follow-ups
Work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach
Function as an educator for PA/NP/CNM/DO students from healthcare education programs
Maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines
Support the mission, values and management of WakeMed
Qualification
Required
Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Required
DEA Required
Basic Life Support Required - Within 6 Months of Hire
Bachelor's Degree Physician Assistant or Master's Degree Physician Assistant Required
Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree Nursing Required
Preferred
1 Year Clinical Experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Preferred
