Senior Manager, Marketing Communications

They are seeking a strategic communications leader to drive marketing and engagement across their Government Services in the US, overseeing a dynamic Communications Team and ensuring effective messaging for healthcare delivery and risk management programs.

Responsibilities
Lead Communications Strategy: Develop and execute annual plans for Government Medical Services; guide messaging for client briefings, educational webinars, and government-directed programs
Team Leadership: Mentor and manage communications staff; provide regular updates to the Director of Communications; foster collaboration across branding, marketing, public affairs, and employee engagement
Content & Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives showcasing partnerships with U.S. Military and exceptional service to TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) beneficiaries; support business development with impactful marketing materials
Internal & External Engagement: Elevate internal communications; maintain brand standards; coordinate with global marketing teams to amplify visibility
Thought Leadership & Events: Drive strategies for white papers, media engagement, and speaking opportunities; manage trade show participation, booth design, and collateral
Program Support: Oversee communications for TOP Near Patient Program (NPP); monitor engagement strategies with Military Treatment Facilities and stakeholders; ensure compliance with SOPs
Performance Monitoring: Track effectiveness of communication channels; leverage emerging tools and AI-driven efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or higher in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing
6-10 years' of marketing communications experience; healthcare administration and/or military or federal government background strongly preferred
Proven experience in business communications, story creation, and project development; experience with B2B and B2C marketing strategies is highly desirable
Proven ability to adapt to new industries/environments and workplace cultures. Embraces new challenges and quickly familiarizes oneself with the company, organizational structure, business goals, and internal/external stakeholder expectations
Proven marketing and communications leadership with strong project management skills
Exceptional writing and storytelling ability; experience in strategic messaging
Expertise in CRM, social media, and digital marketing tools; familiarity with CMS and design platforms (Adobe Suite, Canva)
Advanced MS Office and SharePoint skills; ability to thrive in a matrix organization
English, fluent – reading, writing, speaking
