Gardner Resources Consulting, LLC is supporting a major enterprise initiative and is seeking an experienced Stibo STEP Solutions Architect to lead technical design and development efforts for a large-scale MDM environment. This role focuses on translating complex business processes into scalable STEP solutions and guiding the overall architecture of the platform.

Responsibilities

Lead scoping sessions, planning discussions, and technical design workshops
Own solution architecture: write, review, and approve solution designs and technical specifications
Translate business requirements into STEP configurations and technology components
Apply best practices for integrations, APIs, business rules, and overall solution governance
Drive process improvements and champion good practices across the implementation
Manage and build data mappings between STEP and integration layers (ETL/ESB, XML, STEPXML)
Develop complex business rules for pre/post processing and application workflows; perform code reviews
Partner with system administrators to troubleshoot platform, solution, and performance issues
Apply multi-domain MDM concepts and understand relationships across data sources and data structures
Design and model taxonomies, metadata, and data relationships
Work with modern integration technologies, data mapping strategies, and API-driven processes
Contribute hands-on with Java, XML/XSLT, JSON, ReactJS, JavaScript, and GraphQL
Leverage strong system design fundamentals, including cloud architecture concepts
Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Operate within an agile environment and support streamlined development practices
Bring prior STEP experience from previous implementations
Workflow and UI configuration experience within STEP
System administration fundamentals
Web services expertise
