Lead HR Business Partner- (Corp- Supply Chain/Finance)

The Lead HR Business Partner will oversee human resources policies and activities, ensuring compliance and effective management of HR functions across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

Administers human resources policies to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws
Develops human resources budget and reviews status with each location on regular basis
Implements communications systems to ensure all locations have access to information in a timely manner
Provides guidelines and oversees management of human resources activities such as recruitment, performance review, benefits, and employee relations, and resolves problems requiring senior management intervention
Ensures group compliance with affirmative action activities and demonstrates measurable progress toward accomplishment of affirmative action goals
Responsible for ensuring development of females, minorities, disabled employees, and veterans for promotional consideration and prevents harassment of employees placed through the affirmative action efforts
Represents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, where applicable
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with human resources staff to exchange information and provide ongoing support and problem resolution
Analyzes trends at each facility in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends
Schedules training at each location in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment, and diversity awareness
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs

Required

Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally required to stand and walk
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
The work environment is that which is typical of an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
Occasional travel may be required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred
Minimum of three (3) years related experience
