Responsibilities
Implement the technical roadmap and system architecture for commercial platforms, including Veeva / Salesforce, Power BI, data integration pipelines, and master data management
Assist with requirements gathering, user interface design, development oversight, quality assurance, implementation, and servicing
Implement scalable system integrations, including APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes across internal systems and third-party data sources
Assist with gathering functional requirements and creating technical specifications and development plans
Collaborate with system architects and data engineers to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance
Manage a team of developers, business analysts, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of technology initiatives
Adhere to key pharmaceutical regulatory standards to safeguard compliance
Support production systems, address issues, and implement system upgrades
Assist with change management, training, and system adoption
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
Over five years of progressive technical experience in Commercial IT, Sales Operations, or enterprise application development, with at least two years in a technical leadership role
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements: HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, PDMA
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technical teams and managing partner relationships
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical business processes
Experience working with diverse pharmaceutical data sources
Proven experience managing pharmaceutical commercial systems
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
