Responsibilities

Work with a highly skilled engineering team in the design, implementation, and support of driver technologies
The role includes interacting with multi-functional teams across Apple to bring state-of-the-art kernel and security enhancements to Apple's products
The position will focus on areas such as IPC, kernel, user space drivers, scheduling, and so on
Engineers also use various debugging tools and techniques to identify system issues and improve quality

Qualification

Required

Experience working on low-level systems
Solid understanding of Operating System implementation fundamentals
Proficient with C
Thrives in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate technical details
Bachelors degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience/skills

Preferred

Experience debugging/testing software spanning multiple layers
Experience in C++ and Swift
Possesses excellent analytical, programming, and debugging abilities
