Responsibilities
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined compliance filings
Review client data, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (required)
Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Hands-on experience with journal entry preparation and accrual vs. cash basis accounting
Proficiency in calculating GILTI
Experience preparing a wide range of tax forms, including 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR
Familiarity with CFC and foreign partnership classifications, as well as Check-the-Box elections
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Must Speak Fluent Spanish
Preferred
Master's degree
Software experience preferred: UltraTax or ProSystems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS
