This role involves ensuring the integrity of financial records, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and managing a high-performing accounting team.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of corporate and division accounting, including general ledger, consolidation, and month-end close processes

Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate standards

Oversee technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, joint ventures, purchase accounting, and complex transactions

Lead annual audit process and manage the relationship with external auditors

Act as a key liaison between the corporate office and division financial leaders, ensuring alignment and consistency in accounting practices

Manage preparation and review of annual tax filings

Lead and manage the corporate accounting & accounts payable team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management. This position has four direct reports

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations

Perform and review month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries, cost analysis, and financial reporting

Review and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and various financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards

Maintain and oversee the integrity of the general ledger

Identify and implement process improvements across the accounting function to improve efficiency and accuracy

Support system upgrades or ERP enhancements, and full system conversions, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration

Ensures the integrity of the company's financial records, internal controls, and adherence to U.S. GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements

Hands-on leadership role focused on building scalable processes and leading a high-performing accounting team

Collaborate with senior finance leadership and divisional finance teams for accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting
