Responsibilities

Write hardware driver firmware for GNSS RF, PLL, and other embedded SOC components

Verify and validate hardware features to ensure correct functionality and performance

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project development

Monitor software baseline health via integration testing

Design and implement automated test integration for Location products

Support Location field testing and drive resolution of technical issues

Design, develop, and test software modules for UWB chipsets, with a focus on MAC layer functionality

Debug real-time systems, working hands-on with development boards and lab equipment

Participate in feature bring-up/interoperability activities with external certification labs as well as customer sites

Collaborate with product S/W and manufacturing teams to provide system-level API and firmware functionality to meet end-user requirements

Collaborate with System engineering teams to architect, define and implement innovative algorithms, calibrations, and protocols

Support post-silicon bring up, validation, performance characterization, system integration, and debug

Required

Bachelor's degree

Proven experience in software development

Ability to complete complex SW projects of various sizes

Familiarity with software development, issue tracking tools, continuous integration process and GIT

Ability to work as a team player in a global team

Strong mathematical and analytical abilities

Experience with embedded programming and native layer of Android OS

Experience in embedded systems, RF/analog design, and/or HW design (RTL)

Understanding of GNSS principles

Proficiency in Python and strong embedded C skills

Self-driven with good task execution skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Understanding of hardware SOC design life cycle

Bachelors with 10+ years, Masters with 8+ years or PhDs with 5+ years of experience

Excellent coding skills in C programming languages

Strong Understanding of UWB standards & domain knowledge of UWB MAC / PHY Specifications

Fluency in using lab equipment such as logic analyzers/oscilloscopes/network analyzers/spectrum analyzers/signal generators/power meters etc

Excellent problem-solving skills & analytical skills

Preferred

Experience in GNSS product development

Understanding of UCI layer, FiRa ranging and CCC standard

Understanding of physical layer concepts (e.g., modulation analysis (OFDM), channel estimation, radar)

Experience in developing firmware for UWB communication protocols 802.15.4z and 802.15.4ab

The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge on below domains: Modern UWB specifications like 802.15.4z/8092.15.4ab/FiRa/DCK/CCC
