Responsibilities
Support Senior Designer by creating sketches, updating line sheets, preparing presentation boards for meetings, tracking SMS samples, creating fabric trend reports, reviewing lab dip, etc
Communicate daily with vendors ensuring all design, trim, and construction details are aligned with the production timeline
Investigate and assist as needed with line production problems associated with patterns, construction, trim
Conduct fabric and trim research
Participate in fittings and actively take notes
Create tech packs and update bill of materials in the PLM system
Work cross-functionally with Design, Pattern Makers, and Production to ensure all design updates and discrepancies are communicated
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Technical or Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related field
2+ years experience in contemporary or advanced contemporary branded design required
1+ years of working with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
Strong ability to communicate, thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
