RTC Aerospace is a 60-year-old aerospace manufacturer specializing in complex, high-tolerance parts. The Deburr Technician II will perform skilled deburring operations on precision metal parts, ensuring conformance and supporting production flow with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Review and understand deburr callouts on blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, work instructions, work orders or sample part

Use grinding equipment with various types of grinding wheels and Scotch-Brite abrasive wheels to remove burrs. Remove and replace wheels when worn or defective

Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments

Use hand held deburring knives and pneumatic tools equipped with burr tools to remove heavy burrs

Use drill press equipped with burr tools to remove heavy burrs. Interchange & replace burr tools as required

Performs general maintenance and upkeep of deburr area

Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities

Performs other duties as assigned
