Responsibilities

Conducts research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator or designee as part of a degree program

Researches and collects study data through monitoring devices and maintains daily records of methodologies and test results. Under guidance of the Principal Investigator or designee interprets results using statistics and hypothesis testing

Attends Medical Center lectures regarding all safety requirements/conditions. Attends courses, lectures, and conferences to further own knowledge of research

Performs literature searches and library investigations as they relate to the research

Required

Bachelor's degree required

Currently enrolled in a terminal degree program leading to the award of a Doctor of Philosophy of Science PhD, ScD or equivalent(EngD, DNSc, DrPH, DSW), a formally combined MD/PhD program or other professional/clinical and research doctoral (DDS/PhD)

0-1 years related work experience required

Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases
