Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens S7-1500 / TIA Portal programs and WinCC HMIs
Integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, and field devices via PROFINET/PROFIBUS and other industrial networks
Completing and stabilizing controls on existing equipment (VFD checkout, I/O verification, safety validation, sequence debugging)
Support FAT, SAT, and customer-site commissioning (primarily domestic; some international travel possible)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
7–10+ years of experience in industrial controls for custom machinery
Strong background in Siemens TIA Portal, S7-1500, and WinCC
Experience with VFDs, motion control, and PID processes
Demonstrated ability to take partially written code to fully commissioned equipment under deadlines
Independent, self-directed, and able to own project outcomes
Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues
