Responsibilities
Contribute to the definition of end-to-end RF system architecture and requirements, ensuring compatibility with mission constraints and performance goals
Perform RF link budget analysis and system-level trade-offs to evaluate performance under various mission scenarios
Support requirements definition, flow-down, and traceability from mission-level needs to RF subsystem specifications
Identifying and mitigate potential EMI/EMC issues through design reviews and validation testing
Support the execution of RF test campaigns with our AIT teams, including test planning, documentation, and reporting of verification results
Ability to develop scripts and low-level software for debugging and test purposes (proficiency in Python and C is a strong asset). Utilize modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, CST, ADS) to validate designs and predict system performance
Act as a technical interface between RF, software, mechanical, system, Ground and AIT teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment with program objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Radio Frequency subsystem integration
Proven experience in RF system integration, debugging and performance analysis
Proficiency in link budget calculations and antenna simulations
Demonstrated autonomy in leading system and SW integration
Knowledge of S-band and X-band frequency communications
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience in Signal Processing algorithms
Familiarity with design principles related to EMI shielding, grounding, and RF signal integrity
Experience with simulation tools for EMI/EMC and RF analysis
Experience using CST (RF Simulation), ADS (design) tools
