Responsibilities
Responsible for driving and owning the technical sales strategy. Be proactive in bringing innovative solutions to address customer’s needs/challenges
Aligns with WWT Sales team to represent WWT's entire portfolio of offerings
Works with clients and WWT Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into WWT Networking and Data Center opportunities
Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals
Manages and achieves a sales gross profit (GP) number
Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key data center partners who are local to your region and/or territory
Assists in Statement of Work and Proof of Concept review and development
Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
Must have passion driving innovative solution strategies
Strong personality with leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization
Strong presence and credibility to be proven at client site and internally
Knowledge of the technical aspects of networking, storage, server, backup and virtualization hardware, software and architecture(s)
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates a solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to integrate and leverage our extensive portfolio of services and OEMs to address complex customer needs and drive successful outcomes
Strong experience with multiple of the following disciplines required: Collaboration, Data Center Connectivity including Cloud, Campus & Branch Connectivity, Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Wireless, Security Infrastructure including Next Gen Firewalls
The ability to understand a client's business model and determine technical and resource requirements for a solution from a client's business objectives
Experience with scoping Professional Services and Enterprise Solutions Statements of Work
Ability to travel up to 25%
Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills are required
Ability to multitask across multiple opportunities and customers
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required
Preferred
Strong experience with any of the following disciplines is a plus: Data Protection, Compute, Storage, Virtualization
