Tetra Tech is a leading geotechnical engineering and materials testing consulting firm. They are seeking a Lab/Field Testing Technician to perform laboratory and field testing of soils and concrete, with training provided for those without prior experience.

Responsibilities

Performs basic laboratory testing including but not limited to: organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens
Field work includes but is not limited to soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities

Qualification

FDOT/CTQP/ACI certificationsMathematical calculationsLifting equipment (50 lbs)

Required

FDOT/CTQP/ACI laboratory testing certifications a plus
The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
The ability to perform mathematical calculations
The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
Excellent driving record within company standards
Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc
