Responsibilities
Define Electrical Architecture: Develop and standardize electrical designs for EdgeConneX data centers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and community initiatives, evaluating new technologies and systems to incorporate best practices
Standards Development: Create, maintain, and update design standards, guidelines, and templates to provide clear direction for internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration: Work closely with internal project engineering teams and external EPC partners to ensure alignment and successful implementation
Solution-Oriented Approach: Deliver flexible solutions that meet diverse customer requirements while maintaining consistency with EdgeConneX standards
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate ideas effectively, establish actionable plans, drive consensus, and secure buy-in across teams
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 10 years in large-scale (minimum 20MW) data center electrical design
At least 5 years of experience on international projects
Deep understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, redundancy strategies, and emerging data center technologies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to navigate complex challenges and propose multiple viable solutions
Proven track record of driving consensus among diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with global standards and compliance requirements
Experience collaborating with EPC firms and managing large-scale deployments
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in data center design
