Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze quantitative research using a variety of methods (e.g., experiments, surveys) and statistical techniques
Leverage quantitative data to craft compelling, actionable insights and strategic narratives, effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders through reports, storytelling, and presentations
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other researchers to define key research objectives and questions, ensuring insights inform decision-making throughout the product lifecycle
Collaborate with data and research teams (e.g., UX research, market research, business intelligence, consumer insights, and data science) to integrate diverse methodologies and synthesize insights for a comprehensive understanding of our users
Develop, conduct, and promote best practices within the product organization, including experimentation (A/B testing), survey design, as well as defining and measuring product UX metrics
Support the development and maintenance of a research roadmap that aligns with business goals, objectives, and priorities
Have a passion for sports, daily fantasy, and/or real money games

Required

5+ years of relevant experience in UX Research or Data Science (or a similar field)
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Psychology, Economics, Neuroscience, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Computational Social Science, or equivalent work experience (advanced degree is preferred)
A large general knowledge of probability and statistics as well as the ability to communicate to experts and educate non-experts
Advanced statistical modeling skills (e.g., GLM, Bayesian) on large datasets
Proficiency in SQL and R or Python
Expertise in survey writing, sampling, and analysis as well as experience with common survey tools (e.g., on-platform/intercept surveys, Qualtrics)
A portfolio of case studies highlighting your research and data analysis process in addition to the impact your work had on an organization, team, product, and/or feature
A deep curiosity and passion for uncovering user needs, motivations, behaviors, and pain points
