Director of Sales | Telecom/NaaS Focus

The Director of Sales will manage a team of Account Executives and SalesOps, focusing on driving new MRR, improving account performance, and ensuring operational excellence across the commercial business.

Responsibilities
Directly manage a team of 10+ team members across regions and segments
Own MRR growth targets, pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment across the team
Drive accountability, coaching, deal support, escalation handling, and day-to-day performance management
Participate deeply in customer calls, pricing strategy, negotiations, and solution alignment
Work closely with Marketing to execute outbound campaigns, product launches, persona-targeting efforts, and demand-gen alignment
Partner with Sales Engineering, Service Delivery, and Operations to ensure frictionless customer lifecycle from prospect → close → install
Collaborate with Product teams to provide field insights, competitive intel, and customer-driven feedback for roadmap
Ensure CRM validity, reporting accuracy, sales process compliance, and funnel optimization
Develop sales playbooks, enablement materials, battlecards, and repeatable frameworks modeled after high-growth SaaS / NaaS organizations
Identify and resolve blockers in pricing, process, quoting, contracting, and installation workflows
Recruit, mentor, and up-level top-tier sales talent
Implement performance plans, shadowing programs, coaching cadences, and quarterly training
Build a culture of urgency, craftsmanship, transparency, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
7+ years of SaaS, cloud, telecom, or NaaS sales leadership experience
Proven track record managing teams of 10+ quota-carrying reps
Demonstrated success managing teams against significant, high-growth annual revenue targets (e.g., eight figure ARR portfolios or greater)
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity, growth-stage environment
Deep understanding of B2B enterprise sales cycles, multi-stakeholder selling, and mid-market/enterprise segmentation
Strong 'hands-on' leadership style—comfortable jumping into deals, fixing problems, and leading from the front
Preferred
Telecom, data center, cloud connectivity, or Megaport/PF/Equinix/Console-grade experience
AI, automation, or emerging tech knowledge and how it impacts infrastructure purchasing
Experience with Salesforce, modern outbound tools, and structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.)
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
