Copywriter

Responsibilities
Edit and proofread all client projects, ensuring they are error-free, grammatically and factually correct, consistent internally and across assets, and in line with client brand standards
Demonstrate expertise, precision, and the ability to work as a team player in a very fast-paced and fast-moving agency environment
Handle a large volume of work quickly and accurately
Offer suggestions/rewrite copy where necessary to improve clarity and readability
Transcribe meetings
Adhere to copy styles and product guidelines per client brand standards
Fact-check names, dates, statistics, and product claims to maintain credibility
Flag potentially problematic language that could raise legal or regulatory issues
Create, maintain, and update internal Copy Editing style sheet
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field
3-5 years of Copy Editing and Proofreading experience
Expert understanding of the English language, grammar, and elements of effective writing
Proven ability to identify and correct grammatical, typographical, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors, along with inconsistencies and factual mistakes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and simultaneously handle multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus research skills across all mediums
Experience using digital project management/proofreading platforms (e.g., Workfront/ProofHQ, Figma), Microsoft 365, and various other tools as needed
Experience using client brand guidelines, plus industry style guides (e.g., AP Stylebook)
