Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

Optimize manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by collaborating with operators, team leaders, and value stream managers to enhance production layouts, streamline material flow, and improve line balancing
Apply lean principles to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction, resulting in enhanced safety, product quality, delivery, and reduced cost
Work with New Product Development (NPD) team to analyze drawings and ensure the new product can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively
Submit Capital Equipment requests for new equipment or technology and work with project team members and suppliers to ensure effective integration into production

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related degree
5+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment with one or more of the following systems: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP (JD Edwards preferred), PLM (Enovia preferred)
Experience working with Automation Equipment preferred
