Responsibilities

Process Design & Improvement: Document and refine people operations workflows. Identify inefficiencies through data analysis, test solutions, and implement improvements that scale with the company
Internal Communication & Knowledge Management: Maintain clear, accurate company information in Notion and Slack. Ensure updates reach the right audiences and information architecture supports team efficiency
Team Engagement & Culture: Coordinate celebrations, events, and All Hands meetings that build connections across our distributed team. Partner with the Operations Manager and leadership to design programs that foster growth, recognition, and belonging
HR Administration: Manage end-to-end workflows in Rippling and Deel for U.S. employees and global contractors across multiple time zones. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, administer team member benefits, and support hires and terminations with precision
Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead logistics for new hires and departures: administrative recruitment support, welcome sessions, tool setup, documentation, and access management. Deliver a seamless, trustworthy first and last impression
Data & Reporting: Prepare and maintain People Ops metrics, surveys, and reports for leadership review. Identify trends and flag insights that inform strategic decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with company leadership — the Executive Team, Finance, and Department Heads — on people-related workflows, budgeting, and company-wide initiatives

Required

3+ years in People Operations, HR, or similar operational roles across multiple companies and organizational contexts
Experience coordinating operations across distributed teams in multiple time zones
Strong analytical and systems thinking skills—you analyze problems with incomplete information, determine what data to collect, then use insights to improve or standardize processes
Exceptional attention to detail with initiative to proactively identify and solve problems before they escalate
Excellent communication skills—you balance different audiences, close loops, and keep stakeholders informed
Bias toward action and operational ownership—you move from analysis to execution and follow through
Comfortable using AI tools to streamline workflows and surface insights
Adaptable and resourceful in ambiguous or changing environments

Preferred

Experience balancing systematic HR processes with culture-building and team engagement initiatives
Track record hosting meetings or presentations that align teams and energize participation
Strategic mindset—you connect people operations work to broader business goals
Collaborative, charismatic working style that builds trust across all levels
