Responsibilities
Familiarize with Sciex LC-MS/MS systems, lab workflows, and project
Develop optimized chromatographic methods using AbbVie compounds for: -Increased throughput (enables fast PK same day turnaround time, with same resolution as longer method) -Greater resolution while maintaining throughput -Equivalent resolution, while producing cost savings on consumables such as columns or solvent
Summarize and present data and conclusions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related field
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
Proficient in LC-MS based technology
Preferred
Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
Proficient with Small Molecule Analytical Chromatographic Method Development
Motivated independent candidates with good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience or coursework in chromatography, mass spectrometry, LC-MS/MS, method development and optimization, analytical chemistry, and small molecule bioanalysis
