Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters including compliance with federal and state laws
Represent clients in litigation involving employment disputes such as wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation
Advise employers on employee relations, workplace policies, and best practices
Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law topics and compliance
Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance
Assist in investigations of workplace complaints and provide recommendations for resolution
Stay up-to-date on changes in employment law and regulations affecting employers

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law
Minimum of 10 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on employer side
Strong understanding of employment law topics including wage and hour laws, trade secrets, and compliance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
