Responsibilities

Contribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control process and resolve issues escalated by the team. Identifying control gaps and look to implement tactical and strategic solutions through technological and/ or procedural enhancement

Leverage industry experience to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk that may cause client account impacts and money/ reputational loss for the company

Liaise with clients, vendors, auditors, teams (internally and externally) while responding to inquiries and conducting pricing research in a prompt and professional manner

Create and present updates to larger audiences including senior management

Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment for the team

Cross train new hires and current employees on new tools and specific client processes

Operate flexible working hours to cover early starts and/or late finishes as demanded by the business

Required

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field

Two plus years of experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, Pricing or other related roles

Strong analytical/ problem solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to trouble shoot exceptions and issues quickly to avoid market exposure

Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc

Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments

Strong knowledge of industry activities, particularly corporate actions, index tracking, stock markets, and fixed income products

Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines both independently and in multiple team structures
