Responsibilities
Coach employees and act as their consultant regarding learning and development activities
Onboard new hires
Craft policies that support internal promotions
Conduct skills gap analyses
Organize and oversee individual and team training programs (both outsourced and in-house)
Qualification
Required
Experience delivering employee training programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5 -10 years of experience in HR at a high-performing organization
Direct ownership of people systems: learning & development (training & coaching), culture, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management program
Experience working in small to mid-sized companies (50-200 employees)
Someone with strong judgement and wisdom, curiosity, grounded, and the ability to listen to multiple perspectives
Must have a Bachelor's degree
Familiarity with personality assessments and leadership development systems (such as Hogan, Stagen, Hoffman, Landmark, etc.)
4x per week onsite in San Mateo and 1x per week remote
