Responsibilities

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technical work in energy management, demand-side management, and efficiency programs
Perform energy audits, retro-commissioning, and Building Automation System reviews for commercial and industrial clients
Conduct site visits to identify no- and low-cost energy-saving opportunities and document findings for actionable recommendations
Calculate energy savings using standard engineering principles (e.g., thermodynamics, fan laws, statistics)
Present technical solutions and implementation measures to diverse audiences
Lead complex technical projects with minimal supervision, including custom/M&V projects
Develop and maintain calculators and measure configurations in program databases
Perform ASHRAE Level II audits and author IPMVP-compliant plans and reports
Serve as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert in multiple areas
Provide technical guidance and training to program teams; author work papers for new measures
Oversee technical input for filings, commission documents, and evaluations; recommend improvements
Develop project scopes and collaborate with clients and evaluators on project-specific issues

Required

4–6 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, building systems, or related fields
BSc in Engineering
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for client and team engagement

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Experience with Building Automation Systems and/or Retro-Commissioning highly desirable
