Responsibilities

Design and develop geospatial software applications
Process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data
Ensure the integration of geospatial data with other systems
Maintain and optimize geospatial databases and tools
Develop custom algorithms for geospatial analysis
Collaborate with teams to define software requirements for geospatial projects

Qualification

Required

Strong knowledge of spatial data structures and formats
Expertise in geospatial programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatialite)
Experience with geospatial web services (e.g., WMS, WFS)
Knowledge of coordinate systems and projections
Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Software Engineering, Cartography, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Spatial Data Science, Geography, Geoinformatics, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Computational Science, Urban Planning, Artificial Intelligence, Geospatial Technologies, Environmental Engineering, etc

Preferred

Experience with remote sensing technologies
Familiarity with cloud-based geospatial platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Earth Engine)
Ability to automate geospatial workflows
Knowledge of machine learning for geospatial analysis
Strong data visualization skills for geospatial data
Understanding of open-source geospatial libraries and frameworks
