Systems Engineer - Level 2

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Advanced Development Program, known as the historic Skunk Works. The candidate will be responsible for applying Systems Engineering principles to develop and implement Open Architecture standards in the Mission Systems domain while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Work independently as well as being a team player and support other team members on a proactive basis
Engage professionally and effectively with senior management
Meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline
Advance Open Architecture concepts in the Mission Systems domain
Apply Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering principles in the development and application of Open Architecture standards
Use the MBSE tool Cameo to produce system engineering artifacts for the engineering effort

Required

Ability to concurrently handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Ability to work independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed
Ability to engage professionally and effectively with senior management
Ability to successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline
Experience with Open Architecture, such as Open Mission Systems (OMS), Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), Universal Armament Interface (UAI), Agile Mission Suite Government Reference Architecture (AMS GRA)
Experience in applying Systems Engineering to Mission Systems
Experience developing UAV / Drone vehicles
Air Vehicle Mission Systems experience
Experience with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud
Understanding of MBSE Languages and Frameworks: SysML, DoDAF, UPDM, UAF
