Senior Director of Product

The Senior Director of Product will collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer and lead various product functions to execute product strategy effectively and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Partner with the CPO, executive team, and product leadership to define and drive SafelyYou’s multi-year product strategy and portfolio vision
Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes across product lines
Oversee product planning and execution across teams and product lines, ensuring alignment with company goals and metrics
Work with the product teams to create and maintain a unified roadmap that connects customer needs, business outcomes, and engineering priorities
Ensure the product organization operates as a cohesive system aligned to company goals, customer needs, and market opportunity
Design and implement scalable frameworks for product planning, prioritization, and performance measurement
Build predictable, transparent product delivery processes that balance innovation with execution discipline
Create and foster excellent relationships with RnD and continue to grow a “one team” functional and cultural relationship between our Product, RnD and Operations teams
Lead our teams in helping to translate tech concepts into clear product direction, help guide Product/RnD planning, have an understanding of our stack and know when to push for new features vs optimizations
Partner with Finance, Operations, and GTM leadership to connect product decisions directly to business growth and profitability
Lead and mentor a team of senior product leaders, empowering them to deliver high-impact outcomes through clarity, accountability, and collaboration
Foster strong alignment between Product, Research and Development, Design, and Go-to-Market functions
Champion a high-performance, data-driven culture that values outcomes over output and empowers teams to innovate responsibly
Guide the product organization through SafelyYou’s next growth stage and beyond
Drive cross-functional readiness for new market launches, product extensions, and platform evolution
Partner with the executive team on investor narratives, customer-facing strategy, and market differentiation
Qualification
Required
CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED IN CANADA
10+ years of product leadership experience, with 5+ years leading multiple product domains or organizations
Proven success scaling a product function in later stage (Series C and beyond) tech companies
Strong operational and strategic acumen — equally comfortable building systems and shaping vision
Player-coach who is just as comfortable delegating and leading as rolling up their sleeves
Deep experience leading both technical and business-oriented product teams in SaaS, healthcare, or AI technology
Track record of creating alignment across complex organizations and influencing at the executive and board level
A keen eye, appreciation and passion for design
