PROGRAM MANAGER, SR.

Valcor Engineering Corporation, a leading Aerospace Fluid Control Components Company, seeks an experienced Sr. Program Manager who will be responsible for managing both legacy and new programs, from Product Development through Engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, test and delivery to customers. The Program Manager will develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring financial and schedule controls are met.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external relationships
Assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets
Lead a team of Program Managers
Assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements
Assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements
Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers - Be the face of Valcor to our customer
A clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures is required
A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required

Required

A minimum of 8+ years of experience managing complex Programs
Demonstrated financial skills
Excellent communications techniques
A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques
Financial Controls - assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets
Responsible to lead a team of Program Managers
Schedule Controls - that assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements
Contractual Submittals - that assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements
Customer Relations – Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers
A clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures
All candidates must meet the US persons criteria

Preferred

BSME (or equivalent engineering degree)
Advanced degree (MBA or MS)
Related Aerospace experience
