Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator will support various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and HR reporting, while gaining hands-on experience in HR practices.

Responsibilities
Partner with the HR Manager to implement HR processes and initiatives across the company
Support execution of the company’s strategy, including retention, and succession planning
Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to employees and managers regarding policies, compliance, and best practices
Manage the dispersal of HR and Benefits tickets to members of the People Ops team
Support the annual benefits open enrollment process and assist with benefits administration
Maintain accurate employee records and process HRIS updates in compliance with federal, state, and company policies
Assist with HR reporting, quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and HR training as needed
Support insurance programs, including Workers’ Compensation, and ensure compliance with state and local requirements
Complete special projects assigned by HR leadership
Qualification
Required
2+ years of HR experience or equivalent combination of secondary school and experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, problem-solve, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Advanced problem-solving skills and independent decision-making
Positive, 'can-do' attitude and eagerness to learn
Natural curiosity and willingness to ask questions and think creatively
