Student Multimedia Designer
The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is dedicated to connecting KU and the world through international activities. They are seeking a Student Multimedia Designer to create digital and print materials, collaborate on branding projects, and assist with video and photography tasks.

Responsibilities
Design digital and print materials including social media graphics, event posters, flyers, banners, brochures, digital signage, email headers, and annual reports
Collaborate on branding consistency projects; for example, creating templates for print and digital media based on KU’s current branding standards
Occasionally help collect short video clips (using personal phone or provided camera) and, depending on experience, edit them into Reels, Stories, or simple highlight videos in Premiere Pro, iMovie, or similar
Update and maintain content as needed on the International Affairs website
Assist with photo shoots for magazine profiles, international student events, and VIP visits (scheduling, lighting set-up, basic editing)
Other duties as assigned (resize images, prepare files for print vendors, archive assets, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (mostly Photoshop and InDesign; Illustrator, Premiere Pro or others a plus) as evidenced by application materials
Solid and effective grasp of design fundamentals as evidenced by application materials: typography, layout, and branding
Ability to meet deadlines and incorporate feedback quickly as evidenced by application materials
Excellent and effective attention to detail and file organization as evidenced by application materials
Preferred
Proficiency in other design/multimedia applications as evidenced by application materials
Experience with web content management systems as evidenced by application materials
Basic photography/video and media-editing skills as evidenced by application materials
Familiarity with KU brand guidelines (resources provided) as evidenced by application materials
