Responsibilities
Act as City Surveyor. Work would include:
Subdivision Map Checking
Lot Line Adjustment
Mergers
Easement checking
Preparation of easement legal descriptions and plats
Ability to respond to questions and recommend appropriate administration of the Surveyors Map Act
Coordinate field crews (sub-contracted)
Work with various divisions (engineers and architects) within Willdan to provide necessary services, such as boundary and topo, aerial photogrammetry, preparation of legal descriptions and plat maps, coordination of appraisal and acquisition services
Legal work - Provide law firms, title companies, and cities technical expertise in the review of defective title, reformation of deeds, expert witness
Providing technical guidance and support to surveying staff
Monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency and profitability
Ensuring the quality and accuracy of survey data and deliverables
Oversees office survey staff. Monitors employee development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience
Registration as a Licensed Land Surveyor in California
10 years of experience encompassing all aspects of land surveying (field, office, management)
