10+ years expHazen and Sawyer is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer for our Jacksonville office. The role involves working on wastewater infrastructure projects, including all phases of design, project management, and support of construction services.

Responsibilities
Support the development of technical treatment strategies, selection of treatment processes, developing process design criteria, and delivering projects
Support coordination and collaboration with clients
Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery
Support planning, design, permitting, and construction of water/wastewater-related projects
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to effectively meet the client’s needs
Candidate shall also be able to support preparation of proposals and presentations
Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
PE license (or ability to obtain within one year of employment)
10-15 years of experience in the field of wastewater-related infrastructure, including project engineering/management (planning, design, and construction)
Experience in successfully delivering supporting projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
Self-starter with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
Preferred
Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering
