The Warehouse Associate role involves expanding skillsets and enhancing customer experience through various warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move and stack products using a forklift
Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Oversee freight handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements
Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in the correct storage location
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Key updated inventory into the ERP system
Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualification

Forklift licensePrevious forklift experienceLumberPanel experienceCustomer serviceTeamwork

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift license required
Previous forklift experience required
Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment
Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely

Preferred

Lumber or panel experience is an asset
