Viaero Wireless is seeking a Jr Mechanic to assist senior technicians with light duty maintenance jobs and support during more complicated repairs. This entry level role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in automotive repair and offers hands-on experience with certified mechanics.

Responsibilities

Conduct basic maintenance on fleet vehicles (oil changes, tire rotation, brake service)
Assist senior mechanics with major repair projects
Log inventory and maintain accurate records of repairs and services
Detail and clean vehicles
Keep tools, equipment, and the shop area clean and organized
Run errands such as picking up parts or delivering vehicles
Travel to offsite locations when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must be 21 years or older (insurance requirement)
High school diploma or GED certificate
Must have the ability to pass pre-employment background including MVR check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen. Drug testing follows federal laws
Experience with hand and power tools
Familiarity with both gasoline and diesel equipment
Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
Must have the tools that are required for this position

Preferred

Completion or enrolled in an auto repair program
Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
