As a Wealth Management Summer Associate, you will support the Wealth Management team with investment research, financial planning, and client service, gaining valuable exposure to fiduciary responsibilities and estate planning processes.

Responsibilities
Assist with conducting investment research and analysis to support portfolio management
Support the preparation of financial plans, client reports, and presentation materials
Help coordinate client meetings and respond to routine client service requests
Assist in reviewing estate planning documents and trust administration activities
Participate in compliance and regulatory documentation as required
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative and operational processes
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Candidates must be available to work a hybrid work model, 40 hours per week for the duration of the program starting in June
Occasional travel within corporate footprint (Buffalo and Rochester) will also be required
At least 1 year in one or more club(s), volunteerism efforts, or other activities outside of the classroom
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Interest in wealth management, financial planning, and investment advisory services
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal customers, associates, and stakeholders
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is a plus
