Electrical Assembly Team Lead

Responsibilities
Wiring, soldering, electrical testing, electrical assembly, and sub-assembly of medical device applications within a climate and particulate controlled environment
Complying with electrostatic discharge standards and requirements, and with the ISO class 5 clean room standards
Using precision torque tools and following electrical assembly work instructions
Verifying work other assembler’s work to quality standards
Troubleshooting equipment, and assembly builds as required
Act as a technical resource to electrical assembly team members to address and resolve inquires and problems and provide feedback to supervisors on recurring/major performance issues
Assist with scheduling and directing the clean room and the electrical assembly team member under the supervision of the Electrical Assembly Supervisor
Guiding the team with new and existing projects by following work instructions as given and training the team on new projects
Coordinating daily work schedules, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources effectively to meet production goals
Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed by MPE, Customer, ISO, and/or FDA standards
Based on workload mix, responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical products on an assembly line
Following all safety efforts in the work center with the consistent demonstration of proper PPE and adherence to all safety regulations and requirements
Maintaining a consistent 6S workplace through consistent housekeeping efforts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 2 year of Electrical Assembly experience, lead preferred
Read and interpret mechanical drawings required
Use of hand and powers tools required
Quality checks are required
Regularly required to use hands tools and power tools, read blue prints and assembly very small components
Must be able to read and follow directions
Specific abilities include close vision, colored vision, reading, lifting up to 50 pounds
