Responsibilities

Preparing complex Estate, Gift and Trust tax returns

Reviewing mid level Estate, Gift and Trust tax returns

Reviewing mid level individual income tax returns

Providing estate planning and compliance advice to clients

Performing/overseeing complex tax research projects

Proposing solutions to clients on tax issues and suggesting appropriate trust vehicles

Supervising and reviewing work of staff below manager level

Fostering client relationships

Qualification

CPA licenseEstateGift & Trust TaxBachelor’s Degree in AccountingPublic accounting experienceStaff managementTax researchClient relationship management

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Active CPA license and/or JD

3-5 years of public accounting experience in Estate, Gift & Trust Tax

Ability to manage and mentor staff

Advanced technical knowledge of tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations

Ability to travel on-site to clients as needed

Live in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area
