Student Intern, Customer Data Analyst

Celestica is a global electronics manufacturing services company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. The Customer Data Student Intern will support processing, maintaining, and managing customer and product data while building relationships with external customers to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

Receive, review and understand product data packages from our external customers
Complete bill of material, component and assembly data set up within Celestica's internal databases to enable material procurement and manufacturing
Communicate with external customers to resolve missing and/or inaccurate data
Work is guided by detailed instructions, routine, procedure and under close supervision. Will receive detailed instructions on all work assignments
Work autonomously once proficiency in the tasks is achieved
Opportunity on more complex duties and projects as proficiency is gained
Opportunity to gain global and supply chain experience within a diverse industry environment

Required

Currently enrolled in a University Internship program completing 3rd year of a 4-year program
Enrolled in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer), Data Management, or Business/Commerce
Strong analytic capabilities
Ability to learn quickly & has a willingness to learn
Ability to work within a large team
Strong Communication skills
Ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite
Working knowledge of Spreadsheets and Databases

Preferred

Project management skills are an asset
Knowledge of German, French, or Chinese would be an asset
