Conducting pre-shift meeting
Assembly's process of finished products
Deployment of personnel on lines
Guidance and leadership to personnel and motivation of Associates to reach
Basic proficiency of every position on the line
Other duties as assigned
Assist the manager with the plant's paperwork, logistics, and customer service on an as needed basis
Knowledge of Fuyao products and PLEX system
Knowledge of shipping and receiving process
Communication with FGA planners and customers
Directing forklift drivers
Production work instruction knowledge
Knowledge of human resources and attendance system
Train new employees to follow work instructions
Daily confirmation of empty BMW racks delivered
Monthly empty rack inventory
Monthly material inventory
Maintenance of material warehouse product
Communications with customers via email, phone, in person about meetings, audits, shipping/receiving, racks, carriers
Trips to BMW, Volvo, Inalfa
Communicating employee issues/concerns to FGA HR
Assisting Dayton HR with employee information, paperwork, communications
Knowledge of all FGA services
Knowledge of billing methods
Communications with FGA accounting
Organization to avoid late payments
Communicating with contractors about work that needs to be done in the facility i.e. lawn care, fire extinguisher examinations, water testing
Connecting contractors to FGA
Organization of all shipping and receiving paperwork, invoices, employee information etc
Sometimes bathrooms, break room, and conference room need cleaning
Qualification
Required
Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods
Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY, FAR ACUITY, DEPTH PERCEPTION, COLOR VISION, FIELD OF VISION
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software
Forklift operation (Certification Required) - Operates forklifts, as needed, to support Production
Background and policy of company, Processing of produce, safety requirement, and any necessary knowledge
Wearing of workshop personal protective equipment
Function of the emergency stop switch
Self working 90 days
Familiar with operation 60 days
Being a trainer 180 days
Give advises 180 days
Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Propane, Gas, or Stand up if applicable & Forklift Train the Trainer Certified
