5+ years expFCA is seeking a General Assembly Process Engineering Tooling Process Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising Tooling Engineers and managing the development of tooling for various automotive operations. The role involves driving data-driven decisions, managing complex projects, and fostering a team atmosphere to ensure effective process ownership.

Responsibilities
Supervising Salaried Bargaining Unit Tooling Engineers in the development of Process, Tooling for Trim, Chassis, and Final operations from vehicle design concept through in plant vehicle launch
Champion data driven decisions
Manage complex projects from beginning to end and meet project budget and timing targets
Manage issues and drive root cause analysis, utilizing tools such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 why's, FMEAs, Pareto Charts, Histograms, Six Sigma, and Red X
Drive design for manufacturing concepts throughout all projects big or small
Develop a solid team atmosphere empowering your direct reports to take ownership of their processes
Categorizing and have oversite deployment the Stellantis North America General Assembly assets
Communicate effectively with all levels of management
Manage tooling implementation
Facilitate 2D/3D layout with necessary components from process scroll and develop list of necessary purchase
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience related to Automotive General Assembly process
Project Management Experience
Ability to manage focused digital scrolls and PFMEAs to ensure process robustness
Facilitate 2D/3D layout with necessary components from process scroll and develop list of necessary purchase
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Teamcenter, AMPs, and MEDDS
Ability to manage tooling implementation
Budgeting experience
Travel domestic and international required
Self-motivated champion of change
Ability to work overtime and travel as required
Preferred
Science Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Good understanding of (SPW) Stellantis Production Way methodologies/tools
