Analyst, Financial

Archwell is looking for an Analyst, Financial who will be responsible for reporting financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports. The role involves tracking financial status, improving financial outcomes through analysis, and providing information to management through detailed reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan
Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results
Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements
Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3 - 6 years of finance and accounting concepts
Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and work place policies
Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures and governmental regulations
Ability to write professional correspondences
Ability to write routine business reports
Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers
Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the general public
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions
Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
