Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
Design and optimize scalable APIs, backend modules, and service integrations
Build and maintain relational database structures, queries, and performance improvements
Ensure application reliability, security, and system performance
Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to implement technical solutions
Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and documentation efforts
Qualification
Required
4+ years of professional PHP development experience
Proficiency with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and scalable architecture
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and RESTful API development
Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD processes
Preferred
Experience developing SaaS or ERP systems
Knowledge of messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Exposure to healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI)
