The National Service Engineer will evaluate products, assist in problem-solving, provide technical support, and conduct compressor performance tests, with extensive travel required for the role.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Evaluate new item/parts or our products for feasibility in respect to use, handling, servicing, maintaining, function and practicality
Assist Technical Service Support and Product Management departments in finding alternatives and solutions to problems
Assist in inspecting and evaluating defective items returned under warranty
Instruct and support the Training Department for Kaeser service and maintenance schools
Assist with performing compressor performance test in the field and in-house
Provide technical assistance to Branches, Distributors and customers as required
Provide telephone and email troubleshooting support to the Technical Service Support department
Extensive travel to the jobsite – 30% or more

Qualification

Air compression experienceMechanical blueprint readingElectric diagram readingGoogle Workspace proficiencySAP experiencePhone skillsCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Extensive hands-on and practical experience in the air compression industry or a minimum of 3 years' industrial equipment mechanical aptitude
Extensive experience reading mechanical blueprints and electric diagrams
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Good communication skills/phone skills required
Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace
Regular physical attendance at the worksite
